What’s on

Check out our calendar to see what’s happening.  Note that all our dates are free and open to anyone with a neurological condition, their carers and families.

**PLEASE NOTE:  Neuro Hebrides top priority is to do what we can to reduce the chances of spreading Coronavirus, with that in mind the most sensible approach at this time is to postpone all group meetings, get togethers and events between now and the end of April.  Huge apologies for this but better safe than sorry.  Take good care!

Look out for our upcoming classes to keep you moving at a pace that suits you.  Yoga, Nordic Walking, Chair-based exercise, Mindfulness…we’ve got something for everyone in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.  Come along for a taster and see what’s on offer.

Cuppa & Catch-up

We meet every Monday from 2pm – 3pm at the Fáilte Centre on Bayhead for an informal tea, coffee and anything we fancy.  It’s often the place where people new to the group feel comfortable coming along to find out more and meet members in a more personable setting.

Approximately every six weeks we hold our Neuro Hebrides meeting attended by a speaker, usually from health, local government or the third sector.  These afternoons are helpful for gaining advice / information and finding out about what supports are available locally.  It’s also a good opportunity to hear other people’s experiences of living with a neurological condition on our islands.  Our group’s views can then help to identify gaps in local and national services and influence change.
