Get out and about with Neuro Hebrides

Neuro Hebrides supports neurological patients and their carers by promoting positive health and wellbeing in the Western Isles.

As well as campaigning, fundraising and supporting people with Neurological conditions, Neuro Hebrides organises a range of different activities and events specifically for people who suffer from a Neurological condition.

We have regular Cuppa and Catch up meetings in the Failte centre, where we get together for a friendly chat over a brew and some cake. We are also organising a range of activities suited to people with neurological conditions and there's something to suit everyone.

IN June we had a fantastic guided walk of the Lews Castle Gardens. It was such a lovely walk, looking at the beautiful flowers and plants that grow there, and the sun shone especially for us.

On the 4th of July, the brilliant Aroha assisted animal therapy dogs came to see us and tell us all about their charity and how their therapy dogs can help us.

Now in the coming months there's much more to choose from:

  • On the 8th August, Join us at An Lanntair at 2pm for a private screening of Mamma Mia - Please get in touch with us to book your place.

  • On the 12th August, we are taking our Cuppa and Catch up on tour and visiting Talla na Mara in Harris to enjoy the spectacular views whilst we enjoy some brilliant company over a brew. Please get in touch with us to book your place on the minibus if you plan to travel with us.

  • On the 23rd August we are visiting the amazing new Hebridean Community garden in Borve. Please get in touch with us to book your place on the minibus if you plan to travel with us

There are more activities being organised all the time, so be sure to become a member of Neuro Hebrides to be on the mailing list to hear about what we're organising next.

We know Covid has not gone away and we still need to be careful, so we ask everyone to do a Lateral Flow test before attending just to make sure we can keep each other safe.

Get in touch for more information about any of the activities and for more information about membership of Neuro Hebrides.
